What the week involves

  • Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm each day
  • In person at Swan Ln, Eccup, Leeds, West Yorkshire
  • You attend all 5 days with your dog. This isn't board and train
Start Your Application Tell us about your dog. We'll tell you straight if the bootcamp is the right fit.
Sound familiar?

Is this you?

  • You're walking at 5am, 6am, or 10pm to avoid other dogs.
  • Your head's on a 360 swivel the whole walk. You're scanning for dogs that "mysteriously appear from nowhere."
  • You've cancelled holidays. You book cottages by fence height. The camper van's sat on the drive for two years.
  • Your dog hasn't been properly off the lead in years. A long line at best, and even that has your heart in your mouth.
  • Your dog is an angel in the house and a different animal outside.
  • You've cried about this. More than once.
  • You've already paid at least one trainer. Often two or three. The treat training plateaued. The board and train didn't transfer. The e-collar made it worse. One of them told you you'd bought the wrong dog.

If any of that sounds like you, you're in the right place.

The truth nobody's told you

Your dog isn't broken. And this isn't your fault.

Your dog wasn't always like this. There was a day it changed. An attack. A move. A break-in. An injury. Or maybe nothing at all. Maybe he was a COVID puppy and the world just closed up around him.

Everyone said he'd grow out of it. He didn't. And he won't. Not without help.

You didn't cause it. The methods you were sold were never built for the real world. Treats work in the kitchen. They fail on the street. Board and trains work for the trainer. They fail when the dog comes home to you.

You're not a bad owner. You're an owner who was sold the wrong tools.

Why this works when everything else didn't

We'll be your last trainer.

Not because we're magic. Because we do the one thing nobody else does: we train you AND the dog, together, for 5 days. Wednesday through Friday we take it into the real world. By Friday your dog walks past other dogs. By Friday he's off the lead, chasing squirrels safely, and coming back when you call. By Friday you're not on a 360 swivel anymore. You're just on a walk.

We've never had a dog not make it to the pub on Friday. And the pub is just the proof. The real prize is the off-lead walk on Saturday afternoon, your first one without us.

The proof

Real dogs. Real starting points. Same ending.

No wrong dogs

The dogs we work with

Working breeds with no job to do

A huge share of the dogs we see. Working-dog brain, pet-dog life. We give them purpose and control.

The dogs everyone crosses the road for

Big, powerful, judged on sight. Muzzle mandates included. Other trainers turn them away. Bring him to us.

Rescues with a past

Dogs pulled off euthanasia lists. Street rescues. Dogs who've spent a year in kennels. We take them.

Dogs with bite histories

Four bites. Kennel bans. Police cautions. We've taken those dogs. Every one got its freedom back by Friday.

Multi-dog households at war

One dog triggers the other. Walks in shifts. Garden on a rota. Both dogs, same week, second dog half price.

Small dogs nobody takes seriously

Pocket-sized with a big attitude. Everyone laughs until they meet him.

The dog you have is literally the dog we want. That's all we do.

This bootcamp isn't for you if…

  • You want a board and train where we fix the dog without you.
  • You can't attend all 5 days in person.
  • You only want a treats-based approach.
  • You're not ready to keep the work going after the week.

What happens on the call

After you apply, you'll have a short assessment call with one of our trainers. We'll ask about your dog: the breed, the age, what they do and what you've tried. Then we'll tell you whether the bootcamp is the right fit.

It isn't right for every dog, and we'll tell you straight.

We only take 8 dogs per intake, so your call slot is held just for you.

Straight answers

Frequently asked questions

Can you really fix this in 5 days?
Yes. We've done it with dogs who've had four bites, dogs banned from kennels, dogs who've been through three trainers. Five days, every time. You'll see it working by Wednesday.
5 days doesn't seem long enough for my dog?
We hear that a lot, usually from people whose dogs made it to the pub on the Friday. The 5 days is where 90% of the work happens, but it isn't the whole picture. Before you arrive, our training team sets you a little homework (nothing complicated, promise) so we hit the ground running on Monday morning. And after the week, you have lifetime support. A house move, a new dog, a wobble six months down the line: reach out and we'll make sure life doesn't get in the way of your dog's new behaviour.
What if it doesn't work for my dog?
You pay the balance on Friday, after you've seen the results. If your dog doesn't make it to the pub on Friday, you get your money back. All of it.
I'm worried about e-collars.
We're 100% transparent. We'll show you exactly what we're doing and why. The e-collar is a seatbelt, not a punishment. It's the thing that lets him chase squirrels safely, off the lead. And if you don't want to use one, you don't have to. It may just caveat your results.
Will my dog lose his personality?
No. The loving, cheeky dog you know stays exactly who he is. Our methods don't flatten a dog's character, they take away the panic. If anything you'll see more personality, because a dog who isn't on high alert has room to play, sniff and be himself. Same dog, same daft habits. Just calmer, and better behaved.
My dog is a special case. Nobody's met a dog like mine.
The dog you have is literally the dog we want. That's all we do. We've taken dogs other trainers wouldn't touch.
I've already tried trainers. Why is this different?
Because we train you AND the dog, together. Every board and train you tried failed because the dog behaved for the trainer then came home to you. We fix that by putting you in the room.
What if I'm the problem?
Probably, a bit. Most of us are. That's not a character flaw, it's the reason nothing has worked so far: nobody ever trained your end of the lead. That's exactly what the week is for. Our team are patient, understanding, and will walk you through every step until it's second nature. No judgement, no being made to feel useless. You'll leave knowing exactly what your dog knows.
